What it’s about
Learn how to rapidly visualise concepts and to express your ideas concisely and with confidence. Become a more valuable contributor in ideation sessions, Design Sprints and group workshops. Speed up your own design process by working smart and lean, sketching out core ideas first before spending hours on wireframes or visual mock-ups in the computer.
Sketching is a core skill and tool of any designer and a superpower for anyone involved in creating digital products and services. It is a quick and cheap way to ideate, develop and iterate on possible design solutions, both alone and with a group.
Have you been thinking about sketching, but never end up picking up pen and paper to hash out a design solution?
Do you want to dive into sketching to add a powerful thinking and communication tool to your arsenal? Do you already sketch during your process, but you are shy to show your sketches to anyone because you think they are not good enough?
Do you want your sketches to be clearer and more to the point?
Do you want to spend a day honing your skills, picking up valuable tips and tricks and share with other like-minded people to get back to work inspired and with a fresh set of tools to use?
Then this workshop is right for you.
We start the day with some easy warm-up exercises and then slowly progress to basic sketching techniques and build up the pace through a mix of theory, exercises, practise sessions and group critiques. We'll take a closer look at when and how to use sketching in the design process, how to make your sketches communicate more clearly and efficiently and how to run a collaborative sketching session with a group of people.
